Syrian actor born in the village of Maarba on 29 August 1960. He graduated from the High Institute of Performing Arts with a degree in acting. He began his career in 1984 appearing in the series Al-Zeer Salem. His film debut, however, was in 1988 on Stars of the Day. He appeared in several other works, most notably The Banner People, Zero Hour, and The Weary Journey.

Four political activists friends are arrested by the repressive regime in Syria in the 1970s and spend twenty years in detention, three of them are released, and the fourth remains. The three friends are shocked by the huge changes they found in society, while showing the hardships their fourth comrade faces in prison.

In a sad land, violence takes over one of its girls, turning her life into a hell whose flames are fanned by those closest to her. Hayat, a simple girl lives governed by ignorance, bigotry, and deprivation. She spends her days according to what is destined for her, growing up without love, without dreams, without hope. One day, fate brings her a disaster from which there is no escape except a death sentence. At the moment death appears imminent, fate intervenes once again to open a new horizon for life, but with an irreplaceable loss. Hayat, a story of a journey through worlds of secrets, fear, and escape in search of salvation.

The film tells the story of two characters at a new stage in their lives, whose fates intersect, a meeting that will force them to reconsider their reality.

In his debut feature film, director Muhammad explores the inexorable dissolution of a family, ironically during the planning of a wedding, the kind of ritual that ought to bond family members together in shared joy. The film exposes the divisive dynamics of patriarchal oppression, and the terrible connections between familial and sociopolitical violence.

As an elderly man on his deathbed looks to give his name to one of his newborn grandsons, he's unable to acknowledge any of them. The three boys grow up with no name in the Syrian mountains, as they struggle to survive in a war-torn country.
