Pistolník is a teacher who rules the boys' boarding school of a vocational school with a firm hand. Room No. 135 is Pavel, Tonda, Roman, Slavek and especially Olin, nicknamed Koblih, five classmates who, with extraordinary imagination, drive Pistolník crazy with new and new Canadian pranks. Their recessions are only put to an end by the arrival of a new and young teacher, Kamila, who is not affected by their tried and tested tricks. Despite their seemingly carefree life, each of the boys has his own problems, which gradually surface, and so in the avalanche of funny moments, a serious tone is occasionally heard.

When not serving regulars at a pub in the middle of a sleepy northern Moravian village, thirtysomething Maruna spends time with hesitant Jura and naïve outsider Olin – or fighting with her imperious mother. Lightened with a touch of black humor, this laconic village drama is the directorial debut of the artistic director of Prague’s Dejvice Theater who gave the members of his ensemble a one-of-a-kind acting opportunity in film.

In 1942, Friedrich Weimer's boxing skills get him an appointment to a National Political Academy (NaPolA) – high schools that produce Nazi elite. Over his father's objections, Friedrich enrolls. During his year in seventh column, Friedrich encounters hazing, cruelty, death, and the Nazi code. His friendship with Albrecht, the ascetic son of the area's governor, is central to this education.

Despite the fact that young Jakub had faithfully served a wealthy farmer for a whole year, he did not receive a fair reward. When a mouse brings a picture of the beautiful Klárka from a nearby castle to the forest, Jakub falls in love with her at first sight. However, Klárka is in danger from Prince Darjabád, who needs her young heart to become young again and, above all, immortal...
