In war-torn Japan, the Tokugawa Shogun, desperate to restore peace to his people, orders the assassination of the hostile warlords. A beautiful young woman is raised from birth with nine other orphans, to become an assassin. Her name is Azumi, the ultimate assassin.

Young assassins Azumi and Nagara continue their mission to prevent a civil war. In their hunt for Masayuki Sanada, who is protected by both an army and a dangerous clan, they meet Ginkaku, a person who shows a remarking resemblance with former friend Nachi.

The Shimazu Clan's internal conflict over succession spirals into a full-blown war, pitting the traditional Miwa Clan, backing third-generation boss Tetsuo Sakuragi (Yasukaze Motomiya), against the Shinseikai faction led by former Saiko-komon Kippei Hagiwara (Kazuyoshi Ozawa), now aligned with the Ichio Federation. The feud escalates, engulfing Osaka’s two major yakuza factions and threatening to consume the entire region. The third-generation Shimazu Clan leader, Tetsuo Sakuragi (Yasukaze Motomiya), arranges a meeting with Kenichi Kanamori (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi), but Kanamori refuses to listen. Hidetoshi Kaji (Hitoshi Ozawa), the head of the Koga Family, takes matters into his own hands and eliminates Natsuo Hiroshige (Eiichi Furui), a former member of Shimazu’s Shinseikai faction, who was secretly working to link Kanamori with the Ichikō Alliance. As Sakuragi and Kaji struggle to address the Kanamori issue, Kanamori’s ties with the Ichikō Alliance deepen, leaving Sakuragi on the verge of giving up. Amidst discussions of Kanamori becoming a sworn brother to Shingo Ōtatsu (Yoshihiro Fujiwara), the Ichikō Alliance’s headquarters chief, Sakuragi sends assistant underboss Naruhide Funaki (Yuma Ishigaki) to infiltrate Kanamori’s group. Funaki desperately tries to prevent Kanamori’s alliance with Ichikō but ultimately reveals a certain truth to Kanamori that changes everything…

To promote the movie Kamen Rider × Super Sentai × Space Sheriff: Super Hero Taisen Z, Toei released a series of Internet clips under the collective title Kamen Rider × Super Sentai × Space Sheriff: Super Hero Taisen Otsu!: Heroo! Answers. The net movies also featured characters from Tsuburaya Productions and Marvel Comics. Toei Tokusatsu BB and TV Asahi began distribution on April 12, 2013.

The mega-corporate Daedalus Group is under attack by a small group of activists known as the Ghost of Icarus. While taking care of some of the victims of the bombing, Black Jack encounters Dr. Kiriko, also known as Death Incarnate, who just like him, asks his patients huge sums of money but instead of saving them, he offers them a painless death. When the activist group requests both doctors’ collaboration, Black Jack finds himself caught in a spiral of life, death and treason while trying to save his patients' lives and avoid the breaking of a biological war that could destroy humanity.

Based on the historical figure of Nobutora, the father of the famous Warring States period general Takeda Shingen. Takeda Shingen has proven himself in battle but there’s an even more capable person in his family, his father Nobutora (lit. Samurai Tiger). The son exiles the father and so the old patriarch goes to Suruga to serve the Ashikaga shogun in Kyoto. Decades later, Nobutora, now 80 years old, learns that Shingen is in trouble and the old man returns home to keep the Takeda family alive as a new leader seeks to usurp leadership of the Takeda’s and starts a fight with the great warlord, Oda Nobunaga.
