Love story set against the backdrop of Cyprus' struggle for independence from the British in the 1950s.
Stefanos is a musician who lives a quiet life. One day, however, when he leaves his son with his nanny at the supermarket to do some shopping, something happens that changes her life forever. At the same time that some people are trying to rob the cash delivery, Stefanos' son, accompanied by his nanny, exits the supermarket and is killed by a stray bullet fired by the robbers at the money transporters. The pain of the unfortunate father stifles every human emotion within him, and when the law loses track of the robbers and control of the situation, Stefanos discovers the robbers...
The young daughter (Anna Synodinou) of a well-off family comes back from Switzerland after completing her studies, married to a young scientist, Thanasakis (Byron Pallis), who comes back to Greece determined to serve his country as a politician. With the financial support of his brother-in-law (Dinos Iliopoulos) he enters the election with no results. Soon though, another election is announced and he decides to run for a second time, again asking support from his brother-in-law who insists that a new campaign would be financial suicide for the family.
The 300 Spartans is an account of the 480 B.C. Battle of Thermopylae, in which the Greek Spartan King Leonidis, played by Richard Egan, led a remarkably small number of Greek Sparta to victory over an invading Persian army led by evil King Xerxes that was thought to number over 25,000. This spectacular conflict gave the Grecians enough time to organize a force to ultimately repel the Persians, and thus change the course of Western civilization.

A young man with ideals, equipped with a high-school diploma, dreams of a quiet and honest life. Nevertheless, being unable to find a job and facing the problems of unemployment, he gets involved in a ring of thieves. The hoodlums organize a major heist. Lefteris agrees to take part in order to solve his money problems and live happily with his girl. Things, however, do not develop smoothly. The hero, at the last moment, manages to escape and avoid arrest by the policemen, thanks to the help of a girl who works in a cabaret in Piraeus and is in love with him.
Thanasis is against marriage, by conviction. But he changes his mind when hiring Mary as secretary.
Loukas has been living in Africa for many many years, working hard to send money to his family who has stayed in Greece. When the time has come to return home, he decides to surprise his family and arrives to Greece without telling them that he's coming. Loukas is anxious to see his wife and his grown-up children after so long, but they may not share the same feeling.
