George Lam and Carol Cheng play a couple who finally settle down after a long-running love marathon. Their troubles begin when George loses his job and becomes a house-husband, while Carol and daughter (Vivian Chow) become the breadwinners of the family.

Marital ups and downs and extramarital flings provide the background to this uproarious tale of life in an advertising agency. Yuppie ad-man Leung Foon separates from his similarly career-focused wife Ann, tries to get back together with his former girlfriend, and flirts with his woman boss, before questioning whether he was better off where he started.

Hiu-tung (Veronica Yip) is a naïve young wife who is forced to raise her child alone after her gangster husband skips town for Taiwan. As they are talking, three men suddenly appeared and tried to kill them. The Taiwanese woman is killed but Ip and the kid, Yen, managed to escape. At the same time, Ip's husband commits suicide. His superior suspected him of corruption. Ip finds out that the Taiwanese woman was her husband's mistress and Yen, his illegitimate son. Ip is given custody of Yen but they are unable to get along. However she will save his live when the gang go after him.

Young friends (Jordan Chan, Moses Chan, Farini Cheung) look for happiness but find only fleeting pleasure in barhopping and one-night stands.

Building Inspector Tony (Tony Leung Ka Fai) investigates an old abandoned building in a deserted plant site and falls victim to a restless demon, who wants to resurrect into Tony's body. However, the spirit of a young woman (Rosamund Kwan) suddenly appears, saves Tony, and accidentally sucks some of his life force, thereby, sharing his feelings and emotions. The ghost falls in love with Tony, but he wants to use her to help him woo his gorgeous colleague (Ellen Chan).

Chu Lai Ngor and her daughter Vivian have now moved in with Alex Lui. They're not married yet but she's calling herself Mrs. Lui now. Just when the ultimate housewife and ultimate nag Ngor thought she got rid of her competitor for Alex in the first movie, she now has more competition, in the form of choreographer director Joe. Alex's cousin from Canada Ao also present him with a bunch of problems and thoughts in his head with his kids and his perverted attitude. What will Ngor, Alex and Joe do?
