1954. The restless dreamer Mishka has almost realized his dream of starring in a spy movie. A new adventure awaits him: he and his mother have a long journey across the country to reunite with the boy's father, a pilot. On the train, Mishka discovers a real spy and decides to prevent him from committing an insidious villainy by all means.

Three friends decide to spend day in the beach but suddenly tragic memories are starting to affect each one of them.

The film is set in the 1960s, in a remote provincial town. Ivan is a model worker, a lathe operator at a factory, raising his son Alexei alone. Problems arise in the family: Ivan's beloved wife has a huge debt and faces prison. And Alexei is humiliated by hooligans in front of his beloved girlfriend. His father finds an unusual way out of these situations: he makes a gun himself (so that Leshka can take revenge on the hooligans), then goes with his son to rob a cafe to help Masha cover the shortfall. Gradually, Alexei gets a taste for it; he likes having power over people and commits his first murder. Suddenly, Ivan realizes that he has raised a killer with his own hands.

Terror strikes the underground train system in Moscow in the form of a flood from a collapsed tunnel. The film follows a diverse group of Moscow citizens who find themselves trapped in the city’s underground rail network, their train derailed and virtually crushed after an aging tunnel collapses. Amongst this band of survivors is softly spoken surgeon Andrey (Sergei Puskepalis), whose wife is having an affair with the conceited businessman Vlad (Anatoly Beliy). Fate brings these two men together on the same doomed train, but there is little time to resolve their differences, as the tunnel begins to quickly fill with water, forcing them to work together with the others and find a way back to the surface.

Two characters who represent two generations... One is 68 with of plenty Soviet Union background, another 2is 3 and without any targets in his life. This is a fractured tale of Kiwi (Iaroslav Zhalnin), a teen thief with a penchant for driving his motorcycle into traffic, playing video games and turning invisible; Alisa (Vasilisa Petina), a young model whose face is splashed all over city billboards and ads, with whom Kiwi grows fixated; and Alik (Khazizov), a metrosexual writer who roller-skates in his cavernous hard-wood-floored apartment and plucks a drunken Alisa after her fateful encounter with Kiwi. Alik, responding to Alisa’s pleas, eventually confronts the pestering Kiwi; a misunderstanding (did he rape her? did he not?) erupts into violence.

After suffering from a heart attack, a wealthy elderly Russian man plans to will most of his estate to his estranged daughter, but his titular wife has other plans.
