Yang Dong-geun (양동근) is a South Korean film, television, and theater actor. He also performs hip-hop music under the name "YDG".

On the day Dong-geun is released from prison, Director Yoon of the financial investment company introduces him to meet the CEO of Butter Cream Bread Entertainment. Butter(CEO) tells Dong-geun that his artists are naive and easy to rip off, and that there is a small “culture and arts fund” that he can use for his benefit. Dong-geun accepts Butter's suggestion and meets ‘What's Up’, one of Butter’s new artists. As it turns out, Dong-geun is a bizarre musician who sang 'Woman in the Rain' under the name of DG in the past. Dong-geun begins to have a heart for ‘What's Up’ and slowly regains the passion he had as DG in the past. Dong-geun finally decides to help 'What's Up'.

Follows the coming-of-age story of a male student and two female students who share the same name, who first meet as freshmen in college. Choi Kyung Soo, who hails from Sokcho and moves to Seoul for college. Perhaps due to the pain he experienced during his high school days, Choi Kyung Soo has a hard time opening his heart to others. The confident and cool Lee Hyun Jung [A] is admired by the other students at school and is more mature than most of her peers. When she and Choi Kyung Soo meet in a stargazing club, they develop feelings for each other that they are unable to express. The hard-working and intelligent Lee Hyun Jung [B] was admitted to college at the top of her class and has little in common with Lee Hyun Jung [A] apart from their name and major. Lee Hyun Jung [B] finds herself drawn to the reserved Choi Kyung Soo, who always seems to keep a distance between himself and the other students at school, and she tries to bring him into her group of friends.

An account of karate competitor Choi Yeung-Eui who went to Japan after World War II to become a fighter pilot but found a very different path instead. He changed his name to Masutatsu Oyama and went across the country, defeating martial artists one after another. This film concentrates on the period when he is still young, and developing his famous karate style, Kyokushin.
