Based on a true story, one night's stay at a five star hotel is unexpectedly donated to 'The Track', a day shelter for rough sleepers. A place where our lead Grace, a volunteer hands out the shower, food and clothing tokens whilst constantly mesmerized by a waxed orange presenter on the communal TV scolding a £250,000 tattered house, unoccupied. When one loyal member, Nate an ex-teacher is gifted this grand night's stay he is painfully turned away by a very unhelpful receptionist because of incorrect personal information. Grace unexpectedly comes across him and in a rash but brave panic calls on her boyfriend to take him into their nearby flat, but it might be too late as the cold encapsulates his body and becomes his worst enemy. A single mother determined to make it as a singer puts together an all-girl reggae group named Neeta, Sweeta, & Nastie with her friends. Living in a housing estate with little support, the odds are obviously against her. Emotionally she struggles too as she learns at her mother's death that her actual mother is the woman she had thought was her older sister. With the help of a female agent, the group starts to get some exposure and rises above their setting.
John thinks life is just perfect. He's in what he considers a solid relationship with girlfriend Mary and his job as a tailor suits him down to the ground. To put the icing on the cake he's about to ask Mary to marry him over the dinner which John has cooked especially. With the ring ready for Mary's hand, John is unprepared for Mary announcing that she's leaving him to find herself.
