On a road trip across Italy, recent high school graduates Ira, Malin and Ka pick up the intriguing backpacker Zoe. As the four girls stumble across an abandoned village, they start to experiment with the limits of their newly found freedom, away from the expectations of their parents and teachers.

Siblings Mareike, Dietrich and Felicitas Reber can hardly believe their eyes when, after an absence of 50 years, their father Xaver, who was thought to have disappeared in Argentina, suddenly turns up on their doorstep - penniless, without a pension or health insurance and with nothing but his toothbrush in his luggage. Attempts to drop him off at the social welfare office, in a retirement home or at a highway service station fail - and so, one by one, the hard-hitting Xaver wanders through all the apartments, causing quite a stir in the families, partnerships and work of his children. It turns out that the three siblings are also in a bit of a mess, and it doesn't take long for them to realize that their freewheeling father isn't their biggest problem...

During a school trip to Prague a group of friends leave the hotel and party through the night.

While the village police mistake him for the Chinese man Cheng, the little ones make friends with Robert. Teresa also likes his sense of humor. But Robert can't suppress his old life forever...

An intimate drama based on actual cases about a woman who murdered her own child. Interviewed by a psychiatrist, she recounts how she got in a seemingly hopeless situation which led her to believe that the killing of her child and a subsequent suicide where the only solution left. As more and more fragments of her desolate life are revealed, it becomes evident that the psychiatrist is also keeping a dark secret, and that she has in fact more in common with her patient as the latter would have guessed.

Hannah even drags her home, wrecking Barney's last hope of some privacy or quiet, even expects his legally dubious help for the thief.
