Jeannie is a dark, self-destructive, closeted 17-year-old West L.A. girl. She has to navigate school, friends, her first romance with a girl, and dealing with her bickering divorced parents. Jeannie purchases a Native American pendant to help her gain positive energy. But something goes wrong when the pendent transfers the spirits of her slain parents into her body.

Shortly after her family moves to a new town, a teenage girl vanishes. Her mother takes it upon herself to search for her daughter, which puts her on a collision course with a deadly kidnapper.
