This is the story of the multinational and ethnically conflicted assembly of apatrides from war torn ex-Yugoslavia, hired by a crippled war merchant to sew labels upon fake jeans and participate in drug smuggling ring. Forced and humiliated into doing such work they are locked up in a Paris cellar where they find out that their Western fate brings even worse temptations then the war in Yugoslavia that made them leave the motherland.

Decades later, his deeds catch up to him after a video of a an execution he recorded is mysteriously uploaded to YouTube, garnering the attention of Interpol and the Hague. Furious and scared for his life, he murders a wealthy Scandinavian businessman and his wife, kidnaps his younger brother and takes them to a small town on the Montenegrin coastline where he holds an old comrade of his hostage, threatening to murder his daughter if he doesn't comply to forging his documents. However, things soon complicate after Beli's brother falls in love with the woman whose life now stands on the line.
When a passive young businessman is conned and thrown into great debts, he and his mother concoct a desperate escape plan - to fake his death, stage a funeral, then hide him out in the attic. When he sneaks out to visit his girlfriend, he is spotted by the neighbors, who jump to the conclusion that he is a vampire risen from the dead. It's not long before the news of a lurking vampire attracts waves of tourists, including some mobsters who aren't completely sold on this whole vampire story.
