The village idiot lives in a hut with his sick mother. His neighbors are the Jewish family of the local blacksmith Mendel, and the guy is secretly in love with his youngest daughter Sonya.

Veta is a student of the acting department of one of the capital's universities. She does not show great promise, but she firmly believes in her dream - to become the best in her field.

The year is 1941. Nazi Germany has declared war on the USSR and begins launching air assaults on Moscow and St. Petersburg. Stalin immediately orders a retaliatory air campaign under the code name “Wings over Berlin.” The closest entry point to Berlin from the USSR border was an airfield on the Estonian island Saaremaa in the Baltic Sea. It would be a 7-hour flight over enemy territory in outdated aircraft leaving no chance of survival for the tail crew members in case of attack. Despite overwhelming odds, the first units completed the mission and made it back to base safely, unlike many others that followed.

Tanya, Arina and Dasha are 17 years old, they are finishing school in a small Russian town. Ahead of them is the first summer after the school graduation and an adult life beckoning with freedom, with loves, disappointments and awareness of responsibility for their future. Will the girls be able to cope with the first challenges of adulthood and maintain true friendship?

Due to the non-standard behavior and versatile hobbies of Ars, the initial rejection of classmates is replaced by interest and sympathy for him. Only the guy with the nickname Sissy hates Ars more and more, wanting to hurt him in every possible way, and, eventually, provokes him to a duel that will be a turning point for Ars.

A young sailor Sasha travels the world and sends letters to his father from every city where the ship stops. But all his letters remain unanswered for many years. Since childhood, Sasha has not seen his father, he does not have his phone, only the postal address has been preserved. For him, one-way letters have already become a ritual. But one day, returning home from a voyage, a sailor finds a reply letter in his mailbox.
The protagonist arrives in a provincial town to meet his father for the first time in years. Gradually, he realizes that his father lives in a world between sleep and reality, taking on other people's nightmares, and now the protagonist must inherit his burden.

One spring morning, during a breakup argument, Katya's boyfriend turns into a puddle of water on the floor. Katya decides to bury the memory of her ex in the most environmentally friendly way possible: by planting a pear tree. Unbeknownst to her, a whole crowd of townspeople comes to her aid.
