Chloe and Alessandro are two 30-year-old, longtime friends living together in a large apartment. Chloe works for a culinary recipe publisher, while Alessandro is an up-and-coming painter. Although their friendship is strong, they have very different approaches to relationships. Chloe is constantly searching for her Prince Charming, while Alessandro, living openly as a gay man in a small town, navigates life with maturity despite the challenges. Their dynamic shifts when Roberto enters their lives. The three become inseparable, each learning from the others: Roberto sheds his bigotry, Chloe finally finds happiness, and Alessandro is content seeing them both fulfilled. But their balance is tested when Chloe finds out she’s pregnant.

The work deals with the election campaign of Vladimir Luxuria, the first transgender woman to sit in the Italian Parliament. She started off as an entertainer in gay nightclubs, found fame in television parlours and achieved consecration as a defender of LGBT rights by organising the first World Gay Pride in Rome in the Jubilee year. Luxuria entered parliament and with her emerged a social cross-section of an Italy that is changing in spite of prejudice. Thanks to her social battles around Italy, the voices of LGBT people gain visibility and social recognition

About the misadventures of Desiderio, a pretty young Neapolitan transsexual, and of her group of transvestite friends. Disappointed in love and politics, they set up an organic farm and psychological help centre for men in crisis.

A Southern Italian family is suddenly faced with AIDS. One of them has it. Which friend or family member could have begun this cycle of infection?
