Raja joins the worker's union and fights for the rights of his fellow employees. He opposes the injustice that his peers are forced to go through by the chairman of their company.

Marudhu (Mahadevan) and Kaliammal (Saranya Ponvannan) are a rich but childless couple. They adopt Kannan (Prabha), a young man from a lower caste.
