The film is a journey through the amazing life of Alekseyev. He drank tea with Tarkovsky, got into the KGB because of Gagarin, competed with Kalashnikov and Vysotsky. One day, he will learn more about himself than he knew and could have imagined: about his talent, about the mark that he left in the destinies of other people. You can live your life again if someone loves you.

A young writer brings a collection of short stories to a big Moscow publishing house. The manuscript stays at the office and mysteriously influences the lives of anyone who opens it and reads at least one page. There are four stories in the manuscript, and four readers whose lives are changed after reading them. The situations range from realistic to absurd to thrilling to create a rich portrait of life in contemporary Russia and showcase the thoughts, feelings and ambitions of people who live there.

One thing is certain: Alexey can never pay for his father’s operation from his income as a pizza courier. Everything changes when the courier finds an envelope containing a Sim card. As soon as he activates it, Alexey gets instructions to do a dangerous yet lucrative job. Alexey doesn’t hesitate a moment.

The historical context of the decline of the Nikolaev era, against which the story of love and betrayal, honor and duty, service to the motherland and loyalty to this word unfolds, will become the key to the film.

Taking advantage of his intellectual superiority, the teenager Valya Uspensky subtly and mercilessly takes revenge on others for small and big offenses. The young mathematics teacher Igor Aleksandrovich also falls into the field of his interests, whose intelligence and tact will properly influence the guy. But the young intellectual will suffer a crushing defeat in the seemingly ordinary everyday situation, which will be set up for him by his sweet, pretty classmate Ira - if only in order to once and for all teach the narcissistic jester a lesson.
