A middle-aged, alcoholic lawyer inherits a mysterious, unsigned will from his father.

In this fantasy with dragons and flying machines, 10-year-old Marta is determined to find her brother who was kidnapped at Christmastime by a fake Saint Nick because the little boy is blessed with the ability to locate gold. A kindly, wise philosopher-type by the name of Orlando joins Marta in her search, and together they survive a gigantic sleeping dragon and imprisonment in a tower with no clear means of escape. They overcome that hurdle, but later on, Orlando succumbs to the evils of The Plague (an all-consuming woman!) and Marta continues on her search alone. Eventually, she does find her brother -- but that only introduces problems she had never considered.

Sofya Petrovna, a typist from a publishing house in Leningrad, has her only son repressed. In her publishing house, managers and ordinary employees were repressed. And Sofya Petrovna begins walking around the offices, trying to explain that a mistake has occurred.

The film is based on the story of Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky. A sad story about how the demagogue and idler Foma Opiskin lived in the house of Colonel Rostanev, took possession of the souls and minds of educated, intelligent people.

A former Soviet officer returns to Germany forty years after WWII...

In one of the quiet cozy alleys of old Moscow lives a talented puppet master. He has a faithful friend Christopher, a son Kuzya and a lot of dolls. Unexpectedly, a sweet and gentle girl, Viktosha, appears in the house, whom both father and son, and even the dolls, have fallen in love with.

Praised for its fine photography and production design if not its narrative, Sergei Bondarchuk directed this adaptation of the tale by Alexander Pushkin. Boris Godunov came to the Czarist throne at the end of the 16th century, after the original heir to Ivan the Terrible had died. At first, things went well for Godunov (played by Bondarchuk), but when the Russian people began to believe he had killed Ivan the Terrible's son in order to gain the throne, an alliance sprang up against the new Czar. Events continued to spin out of control as a young monk was presented as the son Godunov had supposedly killed. Now he was openly accused of failing an assassination attempt, which seems to be even worse than succeeding. In addition to these woes, Boris Godunov began to suffer serious health problems. So much for the joys of kingship.

The young soldier Vasily Lemekhov has returned from the hospital and met a young woman Natasha in Chisinau.

Young Katya Batistova works as a sailor at a rescue station. Here she meets the 26-year-old philosopher from Moscow Evgeniy, who is relaxing in the House of Creativity with his grandmother, a former famous actress.
