In pre-Soviet Russia, Boris Savinkov leads a terrorist faction of Socialist-Revolutionary Party members responsible for the deaths of governors and ministers.
Vita, an employee of a private spy agency, is handed a case of tapping into and listening to the mysterious life of a new "client". By day, her work on the case seems all the more routine; by night she's involved in a steamy and passionate affair. Sooner rather than later however, Vita realizes that the man with whom she is having an affair with, is the same man she's been spying on for the agency. From this point on nothing is what it seems, as Vita becomes entangled into a deadly game of cat and mouse.

Police officer Anna jokingly makes up a sketch of the man of her dreams. This image accidentally got into the criminal search database, and now all the district employees are sure that this is what the mysterious thief looks like, who is feared in all jewelry stores in the city. Harmless programmer Sasha, strikingly similar to Anna's fantasy, comes to the store for wedding rings for his wedding and immediately finds himself in handcuffs. The police quickly find out the truth, but decide to hide it from Sasha for the time being. Anna is assigned to keep an eye on the guy in order to catch not only a real thief, but also dangerous bandits chasing him. But it's not easy to follow a professional duty in cold blood, being around the most desirable man for days at a time.
Sweet and modest Zhenya receives an unexpected inheritance: a distant relative, unknown to her, has bequeathed her an apartment in a high-rise building on Kotelnicheskaya Embankment. Arriving to inspect this treasure, Zhenya discovers the house is full. It turns out the old woman had been renting out three rooms to tenants: a lawyer with a difficult life, a taxi driver named Grisha, who moved out of his apartment to avoid disturbing his daughter, and a newly minted Muscovite, travel agent Nadya. All three beg Zhenya not to kick them out: finding new housing in the capital is not easy…
