An omnibus film consisting of ten parts, each directed by a different young director from the Latvian Academy of Culture. The unifying element of the ten shorts is the place where they take place - the airport. A lot can happen there - including a strike by a comet, a malicious attempt to break havoc by passengers, or an exploration of the old airport guard's house where not a lot has changed since the collapse of the Soviet Union. When old auntie Mirta succeeds in a lottery and wins a car which she cannot use herself, all sorts of family members suddenly appear by her side, hoping to get the car after their auntie's death. Until then, they had never helped Mirta, it was only her neighbours who supported her in her old age. Now, her nephew Ēriks with his wife and son, and her ex-daughter-in-law Olita with her second husband and daughter, would all love to get their hands on the car that's in the colour of Midsummer's Eve.

One summer, four guys met on the shore of the Gulf of Riga. Azamat came from Kazakhstan. His uncle, a partisan, went missing on Latvian soil. Katya is from Leningrad, and Arvid and Yazep are Latvians. Arvid's mother lived in Kazakhstan during the evacuation, Yazep's uncle and his grandfather were also partisans. The military past brought the guys closer together. The trip to the places of partisan battles was not easy for the friends, but they learned a lot about the events that took place in Latvia during the war.

A young guy from impoverished family moves to the big city and by unlikely chance falls in love with a girl who has a wealthy father. When planning their wedding, he asks his father-in-law for a significant amount of money and decides to keep a part of it for himself. To have the wedding on the cheap, he hires inexperienced wedding organizers and asks them to make it look as posh as possible for the low cost. His plan ultimately backfires when the organizers overdo it.
