Maša travels from a big city to a small rural community searching for a man, however, she instead runs into Živka, a local who tells her that he won't be in the village for the next few days. Whilst staying there Maša is roped into helping Živka with her chores and the two women quickly bond.

Young biologist Marta Medved comes to the small town of Veliki Dabar to investigate the murder of a large bear, whose body has been discovered before the mayor's holiday home, with her arrival triggering a string of bizzare incidents all across town.

Daša, a succsesful entrepeneur, returns to Croatia to take care of her dying mother after years of working abroad, learning to value her family and take the wheel as the new head of the household.
