In this heartfelt drama, a mother discovers that a son she thought died at birth is still alive.

Jamal is a son of a big businessman who falls in love with a high-class prostitute. But when Maria’s secret is discovered, his family throws her out, so Jamal leaves his parents and become a taxi driver.
Ria, the only daughter of the Hilman family and a student majoring in electronics, falls from an escalator. Pance, a trainee doctor who helps her, detects abnormalities in her. After a thorough health examination, it is learnt that she is suffering from a malignant blood cancer. Ria insists that her parents not be notified. She wants to give a child as a substitute to her parents. Pance is willing to do it. However, this event leads her parents to find out her real condition. Ria’s grandfather encourages the marriage. Ria faces her death with fortitude. Her son is born safely, while she herself cannot survive.
Six-year-old Lala has a masculine nature, as her father, Anton Wijaya, who wanted a boy. Mrs. Anton is extremely worried about her youngest child’s attitude and requests the help of child psychologist, Kak Seto. Lala’s unruly behavior often complicates everything. She even manages to put the relationship between Kak Seto and his girlfriend in jeopardy. Dina, Lala’s sister, admires Kak Seto who can be gentle with children. And when Dina is disappointed with Kak Seto, this triggers Anton Wijaya’s anger. He thinks that Kak Seto wants to ruin his family. Then Bujel, with his devil-may-care unconventional attitude, arrives to bring their problem into focus. This is the point when Lala’s problem can be solved. The film presents a nicely handled child psychology problem while criticising the psychologists at the same time.

Two high school students, Satria and Rani, have tasted the forbidden fruit of sex. But Rani’s father, a rich man, who is authoritarian and very proud; is against Satria, who is merely the son of a poor widow. He regretfully has to give permission for his only daughter, Rani, to marry Satria who has impregnated her. He allows this without any celebration and on condition that they will not be sharing a house, and that they will divorce after the baby is born. Everything changes when Rani gives birth to a pair of twins. Rani and Satria can be reunited.

Then Arman marries Narita and becomes the director of the company. Yuni and Toni resign from the company. Then Yuni tries to trick Arman by sending a pretty woman to seduce him and then takes a photo of them together. With this photo, she manages to trap Arman.

Yusuf and his cousin Ambar spend a wild night out just before heading out of town for a relative’s wedding. When the pair passes out overnight and Ambar misses her flight, the two head off on a three-day road trip. Little do they realize those three days will have a lasting impact on their lives.

Legendary directors Wim Umboh and Sjumandjaja, decided to experiment by producing a script being written at the same time of the shooting. Mama is a complex story with two seemingly unrelated narrative threads. The first story revolves around Sanca and Anani. The second is about Ulli and Pandji, and in between the two stories is a third narrative, about Ulla, a religious prostitute and Ulli’s sister, and Suwaka.

A compilation of nine short films and collected scenes created by young, up-and-coming Indonesian directors. Set during a single hot Jakarta night. Each short features an interaction between two characters and focuses on the strange situations one might get into while prowling the city after dark.

Satrio Hidayat really loves Citra, but as he has not stabilized yet, Citra marries Triawan Negara. Hence the two men become rivals and they declare their mutual enmity by trying to bring each other down in public. Their feud is passed on to their children.
