Hodder is nine years old. He lives on his own with his father, who works nights as a bill poster. One night a fairy appears to Hodder and asks him to save the world.

Based on a true story the film tells the story of Svend who fights to save his elderly parents' marriage even though it has made his life almost unbearable. When he meets Lizzie he discovers how big a part of his family's hatred and jealousy he himself is. The only thing left is the ultimate break off, or the ultimate forgiveness.

The film is based on Christian Kampmann's novels: "Certain Considerations", "Solid Relationships", "Clean Lines" and "Other Ways" (1973-75). The Gregersen family is a picture of inner and outer Denmark from the mid 50's to the 70's. The story begins in 1954 in the well-behaved, but not just successful, Gregersen family from the best part of the whiskey belt on the right side of Strandvejen.

Aïcha, a high-school student, is a passionate kung fu fighter. Her Turkish parents expect her to get good grades so she can get into medical school, like her brother Ali. But school doesn´t inspire her. Defying her family, Aïcha starts secretly training at a professional, co-ed kung fu club. "Julie" is a modern update of August Strindberg's "Miss Julie".

Four girls in rehab is on tour from their treatment centers and it becomes their life stories. The girls run off in a stolen Volvo and soon learns to know the freedom of good and evil. Both the fantastic feeling to be master of its own destiny, but also the heavy feeling of responsibility when you have to figure out what to do with his life. Before long, the girls learn that they can not continue

A fair point, considering the father happens to be dead! Philip is a successful architect with little or no time for his 16-year-old son. But the mayor and Miss Friis soon reach into their bag of dirty tricks.
