Unbalanced is about a civil servant with great integrity who spends most of his time to expose crime in his company, so he can’t meet the demand of his young beautiful wife. He has to face continuously challenging situations. He is accused of serious guilt and they sentence criminals to death, simultaneously his wife has an affair with his best friend. What can he do to prove his innocence?

A police officer receives a worn-out and traumatised woman who begs him to take actions against a ruthless man that ruined her life, and only gives his moniker, Tín Mã Nàm, meaning “crazy horse” in Cantonese. As the officer sets out to search for Tín Mã Nàm, a network of intricate crimes, espionage and bloody murders beyond his imagination begins to unfold.

A hard up historian lives happily with his newly-wed wife and her child from her previous husband. But as he becomes more successful and financially stable, the family relationships begin to fracture.
