The two experienced comedians Torben Chris and Thomas Hartmann have often been accused of being male chauvinists - a baseless and unfair label... according to them. In response to the accusations, they decided in 2011 to create a show that would be what it would look like if the accusations were true. Adding mustaches and an obvious twinkle in their eye, the two comedians engage in almost two hours of complaining about women's monumental lack of logic, and it's very funny - even according to the countless women who watched the show live.
In our welfare society, we have "invented" a long list of dangers, trends, and problems that we accept as truths, even though they go against all common sense. It is "socially accepted idiocy," says Torben Chris, who pulls society's pants down in his hilarious and first one-man show, Jydelogik.
Some of today's most influential comedians have teamed up to take on the country with a stand-up show that can only be described as a frontal attack on Danish society. Torben Chris, Martin Nørgaard, Morten Wichmann and Michael Schøt have each made satire their specialty, so if you just think everything in Denmark is perfect, you should probably stay away when Rage Against The Mainstream hits a venue near you.
In keeping with tradition, the popular comedy show is back, and this time it is Red Barnet that is behind it. This year's hosts are Michael Schøt and Christian Fuhlendorff.
Comedy Aid 2011
Stand-up show about women and men seen from the man perspective.
Torben Chris and Thomas Hartmann continue their male bonding in Men's Room 3.
Throughout the first three Men's Room shows, you've seen the two comedians twist and turn the small difference - which is actually not singular, and rarely small. Now, as before, there is no talk of the big, heavy equality issues, but rather just jokes! Jokes about everyday issues that we can all recognize and that we are best served by simply laughing at. They are here to stay.
