On May 25, 2006, the band took the stage in Cleveland for a new venture accompanied by the 115-piece Contemporary Youth Orchestra and a 60-member chorus. With a set list that combined Styx classics, new songs, and cover versions, this was a truly unique event. In 2006, Styx upped the ante on their already-epic stage presence by joining forces with the Contemporary Youth Orchestra of Cleveland. Filmed on November 9th, 2010 at the historic Orpheum Theater in Memphis, TN, this stunning show captures Styx performing their classic multi-platinum seventies albums The Grand Illusion and Pieces Of Eight live in their entirety for the first time. Arch Allies is a live album recorded by REO Speedwagon and Styx at Riverport Amphitheatre (now Verizon Wireless Amphitheater) in Maryland Heights, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. Each band also released single live albums containing only their own tracks from this album. The Styx songs were released alone as At the River's Edge: Live in St. Louis and the REO songs were released as Live Plus, Live Plus 3 and Extended Versions.

For the first time on film, Phil takes us on a journey through his life and career from a drumming perspective—from his early days behind the kit to his groundbreaking work with Genesis and his celebrated solo career, from his time with the jazz-fusion group Brand X to composing for Disney’s Tarzan, forming his own big band, and ultimately passing the torch to Nic during the final Genesis and Phil Collins tours. This is Phil’s story, told in his own words. This documentary offers a rare and personal glimpse into the life and legacy of a true drumming icon. Phil’s story is one of passion, perseverance, and sacrifice—a testament to the power of giving everything you have for what you love.
