Soon after her arrival at the abbey she realizes she's pregnant - not wanting to end up homeless - what's a girl to do but fake an immaculate conception?

In the 50s, pregnant housewife Holle lost her husband and vision to the Korean War. Relying on her hearing alone, odd sounds have convinced that her husband has found his way back into her secluded apartment.
