Cox has always had a bit of an "ordinary joe" aura going on about him. He's comfortable playing a wide range of characters and he's not beyond going way out of his comfort zone when the script calls for it". In a career that began when he won the lead role in his eighth grade school musical, something that he auditioned for just to get out of Math class, critically acclaimed indie character actor Timothy J. Cox has shown no signs of slowing down.
