A sensitive insight into the relationship of two young people whose marriage is going through a hidden, yet dramatic crisis. Different measures of values, minor-major misunderstandings, the disappointment of a childless marriage, feelings of loneliness and guilt all cause a painful corrosion of emotional relationships. Husband and wife Bušo and Milka find their way back to each other only with difficulty, finally coming to the realisation that only a sensitive perception of each other's problems and world, mutual consideration, honesty and trust are the inspiration for life and the possibility of overcoming both professional and personal problems.
A television film from the period of World War II, whose hero is Ondrej, living alone in his widow's house. The war has not yet touched him, he has only heard about it from people. One day, however, he learns that the Slovak National Uprising has broken out. Old Ondrej also begins to think about how to help the partisans in their difficult fight. He sets off on a journey to Prašiva with his only horse and a long-hidden rifle to give them to the partisans. The journey is long and Ondrej meets various people on it. By the time he reaches Prašiva, the destination of his journey, he realizes where his place is. And although he is not only at the end of his journey following the partisans, but also at the end of his life, his last words become the confession of a simple man who has realized on whose side truth and justice are.
Slovak partisans, bravely fighting against Nazi superiority, would never have succeeded to such an extent if they had not been supported by the villagers. Despite the threat of repression, it is the villagers who care for the wounded, hide them, and behave conscientiously. Although the film was made in the late 1960s, it fully adopts the patterns of partisan stories, perhaps the only thing it can be credited with is a more developed sense of authenticity in the story, characters, and setting.
Three soccer fans are determined to do literally anything to get to the soccer match between Czechoslovakia and the famous representation team of Brazil. Reaching their goal to see the dream match live cannot he precluded neither by a sudden work task nor family obligations. However, there is one more obstacle in their way: for some time, their enthusiastic behavior during soccer matches has been monitored by the police. This time, it will not be easy for them to get to the stadium.
A contemporary story about the emotional maturation of fifteen-year-olds, their relationships with school and their future profession. A secret group of "Timurs" works at the school, which condemns shortcomings in behavior and works for the benefit of the students. Against the background of their detective work, the relationship between Ivan and Dana develops, which is disrupted by Dana's irreversible vision defect.
This film is one of the most popular pictures of Slovak cinema and relates the story about the legendary folk hero and brigand Juro Jánošík [1688-1713] and the social situation in Slovakia of the late 17th and early 18th centuries. The first part talks about Jánošík's childhood, studies and return to his native village. In the second part Jánošík leaves for the hills, where he organizes his band of brigands and starts an anti-feudal resistance. The film concludes with Jánošík's execution.
