A weekend trip for nine friends to places where they once spent many years of their lives. A contemporary TV movie with a star-studded cast. Nine friends and their families are getting ready for a weekend trip to the countryside. They have tents, meat for barbecuing, and good spirits. They are all bound by a long-standing friendship that arose under special circumstances, which fortunately cannot be repeated today. That friendship has truly stood the test of time. Our heroes are around eighty years old. But the story is not just about good times and friendly banter. Nor is it about the thrilling rescue of an inquisitive boy who is stuck on a rock. There is a detective mystery lurking in it that needs to be solved on the spot. In the end, the culprit reveals himself, but we see that judgment should be made cautiously and with knowledge of all the circumstances.
The story of Doctor Čeněk Dobešek - a decent, kind man who seems almost out of place in today’s world. Though he’s a conscientious physician, he hasn’t learned to exploit his calling for personal gain the way many of his former classmates or hospital colleagues do. Happily settled in a modest two-room apartment with his lovely wife Zuzana and his dreadful mother-in-law Marie Košvancová, Čeněk cheerfully drops everything at any hour to answer the doorbell and tend to whoever needs him. His humble generosity scandalizes Marie, who’d much rather have a “real” Doctor as a son-in-law: someone famous, wealthy, and who never works for free, unlike Čeněk.
A new pastor arrives as the mayor conspires to send Mrs. Horáčková and the other village gossips away on a seaside holiday in this sequel.

A young clerk is delegated to sort out the affairs of a certain property. It is an old castle belonging to the city with a garden, in which nobody is really interested, but the tenants of the property do not pay rent and taxes, do not work and do not send their children to school. Correcting this state of affairs will prove difficult, because it is a family of aristocratic spirits who have so far dealt with scares and witchcraft, but do not know the material concerns of ordinary mortals and cannot imagine such a revolution in their lives.
This production of Ostrava TV Studios was inspired by actual events which occurred in the Ostrava region of Moravia during the 1920s and 1930s. A hedonistic bon vivant of a lawyer named Zajícek (played by Václav Postránecký) came up with a sophisticated finance speculation scheme which exceeded the bounds of law. When discovered it became one of the most closely-followed First Republic scandals.

The story takes place in two kingdoms—Tatranský and Vltavský. The royal parents of the former have a son of marriageable age, while the latter have a daughter at an age when princesses are most interested in choosing a noble groom, preferably at a lavish ball. However, Princess Liduška is interested in only one thing in the whole world—her beloved carrier pigeons. She devotes all her time to them, and the only man she communicates with, of course via pigeon post, is an unknown fellow breeder. But Prince Vranko is also not interested in getting married and ascending the throne... And to top it all off, the clever maneuvers that Liduška and Vranko use to thwart their parents' wedding plans are complicated by a magical duo—the wizard Čaro and the witch Boska.
