A struggling musician becomes a 12-year-old musical prodigy's guardian for a summer.

On Manhattan's gilded Upper East Side, a young gay painter is torn between an obsession with his infamous best friend and a promising new romance with an older foreign pianist.

A modern-day comedy and murder mystery inspired by the many classic Hollywood comedies of the 1930s. Essentially, the movie invokes the sparkling, witty spirit of these films and recreates it in an upscale, modern-day, gay setting. The two primary characters are a very wealthy, attractive, gay couple, one older, the other younger who have returned to New York City in order to get married. However, they end up embarking on a crime-solving adventure.

Dean and Cindy live a quiet life in a modest neighborhood. They appear to have the world at their feet at the outset of the relationship. However, his lack of ambition and her retreat into self-absorption cause potentially irreversible cracks in their marriage.

Crystal is the lead dancer in her own Burlesque show, but she has other plans for her troupe on this tour. While visiting Crystal’s brother, the Burlesque girls start to be picked off one by one, and its anyone’s guess who will survive.
