The film tells the story of Kadir and his family's struggle to escape the mafia. Kadir's father was killed for opposing the mafia. His mother, Fatma, takes her husband's truck and works to support her two children on her own. Years later, her son Kadir and daughter Nur have grown up. Kadir quits his job to become a powerful figure and joins the mafia. His family is deeply concerned about the work he is doing. As Kadir rises through the ranks in the criminal underworld, his boss Reşit sets a trap for him. This situation will lead Kadir's family into disaster.
Murat is a very successful police officer. When Pinar and her friends, who belong to a wealthy family, are detained for drugs, Murat is taken to the traffic branch. But Murat, this time, catches Pinar for exceeding the speed limit. Pinar is released again thanks to her father's influence.
The film tells the story of Metin, who comes to Istanbul to find two women named Jale and Hale, and Rıza, who helps him. Metin is on the trail of two prostitutes named Jale and Hale. His goal is to find them and rescue them from prostitution. Metin and Rıza find the women they are looking for in a brothel. They manage to get Jale and Hale out of there. Jale grew up in a wealthy but indifferent family environment and found herself in a brothel overnight. Hale, on the other hand, was a poor student who became accustomed to a luxurious lifestyle due to her friends and was swept into the nightlife. Rescuing Jale and Hale from the brothel will not be easy for Metin and Rıza.
Cellat, the Turkish version of Death Wish, sticks fairly close plot wise to the template of the American film, with some scenes and bits of dialogue being almost identical. However, it also deviates from its inspiration at times and is at its most interesting and valuable in these little moments, providing lurid snapshots of a place and a culture.

Selma, a wealthy woman, is taken to hospital following what looks like a car breakdown on the road. From then on, she suffers from psychological problems. Selma crashes her car on a rainy night, and car mechanic Orhan finds her, and takes her to the hospital. She becomes enamored with him. But as Selma recalls further details of the accident, she realizes that the real rescuer is a gypsy musician named Ekrem. Selma begins to lead two separate lives, torn between Ekrem and Orhan.
