Necati is a 33 year old man who's passionate for cinema. He has lost his mother just after he was born and his father is an odd fisherman nicknamed "Newton". Necati's biggest dream is to complete his film "Gravity Zero" which he endeavors to shoot by using a home camera and show it to an audience on a cinema screen. The film he presented as "an experimental picture that will rock Europe" runs on no script nor does it incorporate any professional actors. Unexpected circumstances come to life when Necati is on the verge of realizing his dream will leave him alone in the midst of a Mafia pay-off and give birth to results that will affect the lives of the people around him.

The film tells the story of three families who produce enough to sustain themselves in a small town and live off what they produce. Talat, who runs a dairy farm, Bedrettin, who raises chickens, and Rıfkı, who bakes bread in the bakery he inherited from his father, are three friends who have lived in the same town since birth, raised their children together, and have never been apart since childhood. When Talat's child falls ill, life begins to change suddenly. The most important message the film conveys to the audience is defined as "hope."

A victim of a forced marriage who has stabbed her husband finishes her sentence. When she is released from the prison she starts working at a factory under harsh conditions. Soon a poet falls for her, and gives her a new hope in love.

While Leman works in a factory, Leyla makes a living through small-time scams on the streets. Leyla cheats on her husband with a young man from the neighborhood, while Leman spends her time with male prostitutes. However, the lifestyle they lead eventually draws both women into crime.
