A high school history teacher adventures across Florida to discover eternal waters and save his mother from a terminal disease, all while dodging a competitor: a washed-up celebrity survivalist.

But before they take their shot, a last-minute decision shakes the foundation of everything they’ve built. Post-pandemic, the film industry has shifted virtually as auditions and castings have moved online and "self tapes" have replaced in-person auditions. Todd Johnson struggles as an emerging actor as he deals with annoying callbacks, strange media requests, and shady agents.
