Stelios Lionakis (Chania, Crete, 28 February 1936 – Athens, 11 April 2003) was a Greek actor. He made his debut on the stage in 1963, as a member of the troupe of Vasilis Diamantopoulos and Maria Alkaios. He performed dozens of roles in the classical repertoire with his collaborations, among others, with the Art Theater, the Greek People's Theater, the National Theater, etc. while he also took part in several films, as well as in well-known television series, in characteristic character roles. Furthermore, as a member of the SEI he was involved in trade unionism.

A wild tale of mistaken identity set during the Nazi occupation of Greece and starring the great Thanasis Vengos. Thanasis is called upon, during the Occupation, to testify at the trial of a tavern owner accused of serving cat meat to his customers. He too is accused of perjury and imprisoned with some resistance fighters. The resistance fighters escape, but Thanasis remains in his cell. He is accused of being Ivan, the notorious ringleader of certain revolutionaries.

The year is 1965. Natasa Arseni visits Dachau, the place where she was found by the Americans at the end of the World War II. She returns to Greece, and during the train ride she recalls those past events. Before the beginning of the Greek-Italian war, she met Orestis . With the German invasion, Orestis, who was an officer in the Greek army, left for the Middle East. She followed him and accompanied him back to occupied Greece on a mission. She was arrested, interrogated and tortured and was finally sentenced to execution.

The film presents seven short stories of everyday madness: parking in Athens. Thanasis, the soccer referee. Thanasis, the projectionist at a porn theater. Thanasis, the extra in a pasta commercial. Thanasis, the hospital director. Thanasis, the undertaker. Thanasis, the sailor who suspects his wife is cheating on him.

A mad man, Spyros, wants to marry Marianna, his lively sister. He wants to give her a dowry apartment, but his money is not enough for that. So he has to ask for a loan from his boss. The boss refuses to serve him but as soon as he knows Marianna, he changes his mind. Spyros tries to think of Marianna, who is smirked for his boss's mistress, but he only manages to lose his job. He wants to marry her with the poor and honest electrician Manolis, who is in love with her.

A writer is going through a serious crisis, since neither his career nor his marriage are going well. His talent, and friends, seem to have abandoned him. The only one standing by his side is a girl from Africa, who has come to Greece to study, and, in order to make ends meet, she works as a maid in his home. Naive and kind, she manages to restore a happy atmosphere in the home.

One day, while Grigoris is working and singing at a construction site, a conductor, Vangelis, and two bouzouki musicians happen to pass by. They listen, enchanted by his limpid voice, and suggest that he becomes a member of their orchestra. Thus, the newly-wed day laborer gets a second job at Mr. Lefteris’ night club. His wife, Marina, soon joins him at the club, and, before long, she too goes on stage, cuts capers and charms everyone. Her success, however, has a negative impact on the couple’s relationship, since Marina’s admirers as well as those of Grigoris’, turn one away from the other.
