Stavros Xenidis (Greek: Σταύρος Ξενίδης; 1924 – 2 November 2008) was a Greek actor. Stavros Xenidis was born in Turkey. He studied acting in Karolos Koun's Theatro Technis and made his theatre début in 1944. His theatre career was closely associated with Kostas Moussouris' theatrical company during the 1950s and the 1960s . As a film actor, he took part in more than 70 movies, mostly in secondary roles; his first film role was in "The Song of Pain" (1953) (Greek title: "Το Τραγούδι του Πόνου") and his last was in "Red White" (1993) ("Άσπρο Κόκκινο"). He also appeared in several TV shows since 1971; His last appearance on television was in 1994. He died in a retirement home in Athens on 2 November 2008, after suffering a number of strokes.

A medical student (Pavlos Sidiropoulos) delays his studies to become a singer in this story of a man who follows his own convictions. He becomes a street singer and finds a young woman (Betty Livanou) he wishes to marry. After the two are wed, he returns to medical school to support his wife and family. He earns his medical degree and lands a job in a hospital. When he refuses to take part in the exploitation of the patients, he is fired. He opens his own practice but later quits when he is asked to participate in another fraudulent medical scam.

Angelos, a law student in Athens, is expecting Lavrentis, his rich uncle from the village, hoping that with his money, his luck will change. His uncle though is very sick and the doctors suggest rest and calmness. Youyou, Angelos' girlfriend though suggests otherwise in order to push the rich uncle closer to his death. And so, Angelos, with two friends from his village, Damian and Sarantis start partying with Lavrentis whose health starts getting better and better. In the meantime Angelos meets Myrto, falls madly in love with her and decide to finish his studies and marry her.

Having been married for seven years, a tourist office director and his well-known television presenter wife, Alekos and Efi Fotiou go through a crucial phase. She finds it a good idea, but Alekos thinks that they won't be able to raise a baby properly. This dispute brings them one step closer to divorce, which now seems the only solution, especially when Efi starts to believe that Alekos is flirting with Tzouli, and Alekos suspects that his wife is having an affair with Dimitris. When it is finally proved that none of this is true, and, actually, Tzouli is planning to marry Dimitris and Efi's aunt Dimitris' uncle, they all get reasonable, the couple gets over its crisis and they live happily ever after, together with their newborn child.
