Neelankavil Joseph Kurien is a rich, lonely old man who lives by himself in a big house. One day, a thief breaks in, but ends up getting stuck. The old man befriends the thief, and his presence brings comfort to the old man's isolated life.

The film tells the story of Thamburu, a homosexual man who struggles to fit in an insensitive society.

Adverse situations force a young man to step in and shoulder the responsibilities of his family. Later, his decision-making abilities also make him the head of his village.
