Soroush Jamshidy was born on March 10, 1980 in Tehran. He got the 9th rank in Azad University entrance exam in 1998 and studied electrical engineering at this university in Yazd. Soroush Jamshidy started his artistic activity since childhood by acting in student theaters and then continued by student theaters while studying at the university. In December 1998, for the first time, he appeared in front of the camera of a TV series called , Borna , which was broadcast on Yazd TV channel. This was the beginning of his professional artistic activities. After that, he entered the radio. For several years, he worked as an actor and announcer in Yazd radio and television, and at the same time, he continued his theatrical activities professionally.
