Sophia Rios grew up in Montebello, California, where she sought opportunities for exploration despite limited activities. She discovered her passion for photography and became committed to channeling her creativity to inspire audiences. Sophia joined the Youth Cinema Project, and this experience led her to the YCP Fellowship program, where she was encouraged to push her creative boundaries. As a director, she explores themes of friendship, family, and intense emotions such as love.

Emilia’s life is picture-perfect: flawless hair, perfect grades and a family straight out of a commercial, but when strange events begin to occur, Emilia questions her reality. As everything unravels around her, she’s forced to break free before she loses herself completely.
