Song Ningfeng (宋宁峰) is a Chinese actor. He is also known as Song Ning (宋宁).

Where is home? For a group of Chinese students studying and working in Tokyo, it might be the Nankokute restaurant whose manager has been in Japan for years without ever managing to obtain a residence permit. The cook left his family in China and hasn't yet managed to have them brought over to join him and one waiter's father is sick while the other's is a violent alcoholic. An engaging fresco of everyday life with touching moments and an authentic, natural atmosphere.

This film tells the story of two very different but equally confused young musicians, Shanny, a harmonica singer who has been working hard for years, but whose career has not taken off and who has been hit hard by life, and Dong Dong, an ex-rock musician who is seriously ill and waiting for death to come. Their lives are changed by the presence of each other.

After the death of her policeman father, Xiaomai begins to look over his old journals filled with notes about the cases he investigated over the years. The mention of a purple scarf in the notes particularly catches her attention, prompting her to purchase a similar scarf from a mysterious website that claims to sell everything, as long as one can pay the price. Soon after, Xiaomai's close friend is found dead, strangled by a purple scarf. All of this awakens Xiaomai's memories of her childhood sweetheart Qiushou, whose mother was also strangled to death with a purple scarf by an unknown killer. Xiaomai and Qiushou grew up together and fell in love, but he suddenly disappeared from her life 15 years ago without a word. She begins to believe that Qiushou has returned and may be seeking revenge.

This is a drama about family stories. In the film, Meiyue played by Lv Xiaolin and Guanshan played by Song Ningfeng are a couple. They have not had children for many years after marriage. Meiyue, who is sensitive in heart, regards Guanshan as the only emotional dependence, and thus falls into a state of suffering.

Hong moves to Chongqing from Yinchuan with her six-year-old daughter Ye after her divorce. Ten years later, Ye is still emotionally attached to her father, but her mother's new boyfriend Liu eventually moves into their house. Ye is confused by Liu's attitude towards her and has a hard time deciphering its ambivalence. This causes her much anxiety. She reminisces about the past, and goes back and forth between a fragmented reality and her dreams, until the day her mother leaves with Liu. She decides to take the path of escape, as her mom did, and return to her hometown. However she soon comes to realize that her hometown had disappeared one night several years ago.

Yuan Xiuling, a former star and has-been actress plans to return to the spotlight of the theater a year after her philandering husband died. She decides to star in Two Sisters, written and directed by transwoman An Ouyang. But, her biggest rival, He Yuwen, a rising actress, also stars in the play. Yuwen plans her theatrical debut through it. During the preparation of the play, such a drama unfolds at the backstage as much as on stage. With the opening night at Hong Kong’s City Hall Theater just seven days away, tensions at rehearsal increase and tempers flare as actresses Xiuling and Yuwen’s buried resentments rise to the surface.

When Huiying hears that her mother's dying wish is to be buried next to her husband, she discovers that his remains are in the countryside and cared for by his first wife. A conflict ensues, and Huiying's daughter, an intrepid reporter, breaks the story as the three women search for proof of love.
