Everything is ready. The purple chair beside the blossoming cherry tree. The camera. The framing. The light. It’s perfect. For Robert there is just one problem: Madeleine, his fiancée, who is sitting right in front of the camera with nothing but a t-shirt. And when he tries to convince her to dress up, an old lady arrives with some cherries from her garden.

In his first film, Julien Chauzit gathers four young adults in their twenties who are on holiday in Martigues, and he shows their political awakening, in the face of the environmental disaster to come.

April 2022 in France. The presidential election is entering its final round and the atmosphere is tense. Solène, a waitress, drifts through the night. She takes drugs, hurts people’s feelings and increasingly loses her grip.

Alexander, a young actor, has been falling for a few months in a spiral of self-destruction, becoming strongly addicted to alcohol and drugs. One night, he is stabbed by drug dealers and almost dies. To get out of his addictions he wrote the scenario of a film "Spiral" close to autofiction where he would play the main role of Daniel. Olivier Rainer, a director whom he admires, agrees to direct the movie and make Alexander pass screen tests while rewriting the script by incorporating elements of the personal life of the actor. Alexander wishing to exorcise his demons and reach his catharsis will follow Olivier unconditionally in a blistering adventure where reality and fiction merge.
