Maria is a shellfisherwoman and midwife in a small village in the Illa de Arousa in 1970s Galicia. After an unexpected event, she is forced to flee to Portugal.
Based on Nina's final monologue from the play "The Seagull" by Anton Chekhov, this short film explores the relationship between a young actress with her job, her boyfriend, with the text and, especially, with herself. What really matters when we are acting? Or in a relationship? Or in the way we perceive ourselves?
A father and son are at a bus stop waiting for a bus that doesn't come. They decide to walk and are forced to choose which belongings to take from their recently demolished home. The two embark on a journey into the city in seek of shelter.
