Karine is 16 and lives with her mother. Every day, she chats with her father, on the phone or on a web cam. One evening, Karine's mother announces her that their financial situation has become very precarious. The whole family balance is questioned. Now, it's really time to tell it. But tell what? And to whom?

The life of four best friends in Paris: Antoine (a gym school teacher), Jeff (director of a monthly journal), Alex (Jeff's associate in the monthly journal and a Don Juan) and Manu (owner of fine food store). Their time is shared between their respective jobs, their relationship with women (their own and others...) and the times they meet together to discuss about life and play sport lottery.

Alex, Antoine and Manu meet Jean, a loner who ignores the pleasures of friendship. Little by little, they learn to know each other, to appreciate each other. Jean is moved by the complicity and affection that fuels the relationship with his new friends.
