A film crew wants to make a serious drama, but the investors agree to fund the movie only if they make something funny. Hence the drama becomes a comedy with famous singer Đorđe Marjanović in star role.

In October 1941 the Nazis decide to crush a rebellion in Serbia by mass shootings of civilians. In the city of Kragujevac thousands of people, including entire high school classes, were rounded up and shot in one day. The movie follows the fate of one of such classes.

A three-part omnibus. First story: Two friends remember their past, while unsuccessfully trying to win girl's heart. Second story: A teenage girl falls in love with a grown man for whom this encounter is nothing but an unimportant meeting. Third story: A young girl from conservatory meets a man of her dreams.

Driven by the trauma of the Holocaust, a young Jewish man arrives in a small town to hunt down the former commandant of the concentration camp where his family was exterminated. Upon discovering that the man has been released after serving only a minimal sentence, he prepares to exact his own brand of justice.

After becoming a minister's wife, Živka changes her former way of life and becomes a lady. However, her fashionable way of life is of short duration, since her husband is forced to resign after being involved in a scandal. Based on highly popular Serbian comedy novel by Branislav Nušić.
