A "milieustudie" about a girl going to the famous Cafe Odeon and trying to make ends meet.

Willy Guggenbrühl is a meticulous bank clerk and an extremely shy person. Over time, this leads to his wife Margit becoming bored with him and eventually filing for divorce. Now the otherwise reserved Willy finally awakens from his lethargy and decides to win Margit back. On the advice of his old childhood friend Roger, he decides to make his wife jealous, which sets off a whole series of turbulent developments...

Monika and Richard would not have expected this after they walked down the aisle. As the 50,000th bride and groom to say "I do" in church, they are invited by a company to spend their honeymoon in a castle and luxury hotel in Baden-Baden. The condition, however, is that their vacation is accompanied by a film crew. The constantly annoying cameraman and other unforeseen things prevent the two from being able to spend their wedding night without any disturbances
