A bittersweet love story depicting the end of the romance between an amateur model named Yuka and Koyamada, a photographer who wants to capture her real face.

An omnibus special comprised of four segments: >> Story 1: "Skip" (スキップ) A man receives a unique door key with the power to transport him to the future, but the cost is steep: once he enters, he can never return. >> Story 2: "Yutosei" (優等生) One day, a high school girl receives her first-ever zero score in class. >> Story 3: "Fukkatsu no Jumon" (ふっかつのじゅもん) While cleaning his parents' house with his son, a man discovers the video game "Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line" and a piece of paper with a mysterious phrase, "Fukatsu no Jumon," written in 48-character hiragana. >> Story 4: "Kin no Tamago" (金の卵) One day, a housewife buys eggs at the supermarket and notices they're shining golden.

Members of SWORD win against Wangan Rengogun, which is led by Kohaku. The city becomes peaceful again. Nevertheless, the most brutal gangs, Doubt and Prison Gang, appear. They try to dominate the area controlled by SWORD.

A Taiwanese girl Yuwen comes to a village of Fukushima to study abroad. She thinks falling-in-love is a stupid thing and the land is unusually dry as Yuwen’s heart because of no rains. Yuwen struggles to speak Japanese but learns Japan culture and relationships from her host family and neighbors. As she opens her heart little by little, rain falls on the small village after a long time.

Haruto Asakura falls in love with hairdresser Misaki Ariake and asks her out. Watching Misaki Ariake work hard to achieve what she wants, Haruto Asakura, who almost gave up his dream to become a photographer, begins to pursue his dream again, but Misaki Ariake is diagnosed with a disease that ages her 10x faster than normal.

In order to conceal past corruption by the government, the Kyuryu group proceeds on a plan to destroy a street and build a casino. To stop the Kyuryu group, members of SWORD begin to move.

Almost all of the dialogue and narration is extracted from the original story, and there are no particular deviations from the original storyline, but the images tend to be devoid of reality. For example, the scene in the ruins of the mansion where Saeki and Kindaichi talk to each other is somewhat fantastical, and Kindaichi's appearance is also unrealistic. In addition, Saeki and Yumi's sex life is represented by the 'dancing futon'. The behaviour of those attending the first anniversary of the death of Saeki and Yumi is unnaturally exaggerated.

On the Hokkaido frontier, a war veteran and Ainu girl race against misfits and military renegades to find treasure mapped out on tattooed outlaws.

Yoshika has had a crush on Ichimiya, whom she calls "the One" since she was in middle school. Now, a 24-year-old salarywoman, her all-consuming fixation has prevented her from even considering another candidate for boyfriend until an office colleague asks her out.
