A woman who has owned a barbershop for over 40 years determines to embark on a long journey to cut the hair of an old customer who has moved away and is too sick to travel.

Chun Hua, who has been away from home for years after cutting her father off, receives the news of her grandfather's death and has no choice but to return home with her daughter for the funeral. The film is one of Su Hui-Yu’s “Re-shooting” series, which re-visits historical sources in Taiwan during the old days around the 1970s-1980s while the country was under martial law governance.
