As children, the introverted Smile was being bullied by a gang of kids until the brash Peco comes by and chases all of them them away. Peco then takes Smile under his wings and teaches him how to play the game of ping pong. From there a life long best friend relationship comes into existence between these two polar opposite kids.

"You'll be surprised when you'll heaaar-! Kyoryuger Final Battle!!" A live show that was performed across Japan in March and April of 2014, acting as a final farewell for the cast. It comprises two parts: a scripted show part, and a talk show with the cast. The ToQgers also appear in.

Director's Cut Edition Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger BRAVE PRELUDE is the release of the director's cut version of Kyoryuger's first four episodes (Brave 1: He's Here! The Bright Red King, Brave 2: Gaburincho! Biting Combination, Brave 3: It's Going to Get Wild! The Slashing Brave, Brave 4: Shoot Through! The Gaburivolver of Courage), with a total running time of 106 minutes. The release features an additional 15 minutes of unreleased scenes from the series' first four episodes which explains how the other four Kyoryugers acquired their respective Zyudenryu. Also included are ending dance video, creditless ending, solo version of ending, and an audio commentary. The trailer for the Blu-Ray and DVD was released on July 25th 2013. Director's Cut Edition Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger BRAVE PRELUDE is available in both Blu-Ray and DVD, for 7800 yen and 6800 yen respectively. It was released on September 13th 2013.

For 60 years, the group of detectives known as "Detective Office 5" has raised the bar for detective work. Emiko Hayasaka (Seiko Matsuda), who lives in Hawaii, has arranged a marriage with Akira Kuniyoshi (Shinji Yamashita), the son of the president of a hotel chain. Although Emiko is not yet ready to get married, Akira and both of her parents are enthusiastic about the matchmaking. During a summer vacation in Japan, Emiko is attacked with a knife by a boy, but is saved by Shinji Terao (Kiichi Nakai), a young man who happens to be passing by. Shinji is passionate about windsurfing and trains hard every day for the world championships. Emiko is attracted to him because of his sincerity, though he is not very sociable. Upon returning to Hawaii, she overcame her parents' objections and got him to break off his proposal to Akira. Meanwhile, the world competition is approaching and Shinji comes to Hawaii from Japan.
