A marriage is weaker without something in common. Sayoko (SHINDO Manami) is a seemingly carefree woman but she hides doubts about her marriage behind her cheerful demeanour. After five years of being in Tokyo, it is apparent that she has little in common with her husband and so she begins scoping out apartments which is how she meets Yohei (YOSHIMURA Kaito), a real estate agent who is nursing a broken heart. As they tour properties, Sayoko's girlish charms work their magic on the downhearted man and she convinces him to look for the wife who abandoned him but their journey brings the two closer.

Fashion model Haruka is faints during the shoot due to food restrictions. On the way back, she hears the voice of the butcher Anharu with whom, she realises, she shares the gift of telepathy. Haruka is frightened but she gradually resolves the situation with Anharu. Haruka and Anharu, both of whom are married. eventually grow closer.

35-year-old Asuka works in a lakeside fish factory. She’s about to be married to her boss, Taki, but one day, she encounters a kappa – a water sprite found in Japanese folklore – and learns that the creature is in fact the reborn form of Aoki, an old crush who’d drowned when they were 17.

After saving homeless Nozomi from an attack in the park, truck driver Ryuuhei offers Nozomi a part-time job in his truck and decides to set on an aimless trip. As they travel together, they encounter various eccentric individuals, including a deriheru girl (prostitute), a street poet, and a man who is being chased by the yakuza, and gradually learn about each other's circumstances.

In this offbeat coming-of-age tale, a charming, rebellious high school dropout named Kanta befriends the kind, provincial Shoji. The two bring out the best in each other, each gaining confidence from their friendship - especially regarding pursuit of the opposite sex. The working class Kanta becomes a sort of unruly anti-hero, maintaining his pride, defiance, and self-assurance even as his prospects seem increasingly grim.

Naoko, female art teacher suffering from bipolar disorder spends her time at home compulsively chopping cabbage. She occasionally then begins cutting herself, causing her husband, Yoshio, to intervene. Yoshio attempts to help Naoko by dressing as a woman, "Yoshiko", in whom Naoko can confide. Yoshio has a low sex drive, and hopes to stimulate his interest by having Naoko dress as a school girl. When so attired, shopping for appropriately adolescent socks, Naoko meets Kimiko, one of her female students. Kimiko's parents have abandoned her, and she stays with a strange man named Tokio. Naoko suggests that Kimiko come to live with her. At their home, Kimiko proceeds to seduce both Naoko and her husband. During a sex session with Yoshio, she binds him and paints obscenities onto his body.

Walking out on her husband after discovering his infidelity, Akemi Kudo finds refuge in a comic-book shop, where she meets Kyoko Ito -- a would-be manga artist. Soon the unbridled Kyoko introduces Akemi to a new world of sensual experiences, but their fragile friendship is put to the test as Akemi contemplates returning to her two-timing spouse.

An omnibus film based on a single script by five individualistic directors (Hosono Tatsuoki, Igarashi Takumi, Sato Toshiki, Imaoka Shinji, and Kubota Shoji), featuring actors who participated in the acting workshop "Workshop@FAITH," and spinning five different short stories. Yoshiko, an aspiring novelist, has been submitting her works to various literary awards, but has been struggling to get any traction. Then one day, Yoshiko's boyfriend proposes to her and they decide to get married.

A housewife who has been married for 20 years, she arrives in downtown Tokyo eager to start over to straighten out her life.
