Ozan and Caner, searching for a place to call home, finally find the perfect house after a long and arduous search. The house they find at an extraordinary price turns out to be truly extraordinary, and amusing events follow them everywhere. Unfortunately, the deceased owner of the old mansion they rented is stuck in limbo, and only Caner and Ozan can see him. Helping this old soul cross over peacefully is now the task of these two young men. The mission they embark on to find peace in the house drags them into a series of events that are as comical as they are emotional.

The film depicts a world in which Atatürk never became leader, the War of Independence never took place, and the Ottoman Republic continues to exist in a form adapted to the present day. The continuation of the Ottoman Republic instead of the Republic of Turkey, Ankara not being the capital, signs and license plates being in both Turkish and Arabic, and the sultan wearing a suit under his caftan are some of the tragicomic situations that make up the film's story.

The action takes place in Aegean region. Melek is the most beautiful woman in the village. She is liked by more men. She get divorce with her husband and this annoys the rest of the villagers. They both want her and hate her. Melek is liked by the most rich man in the village Dönek Husam even though he is married. He wants only to sleep with her but she doesn't love him. He starts to pressure Melek more and more and by the end he hates her and even organize her murder. Melek's daughter's ex-fıancè Yaman has a sexual interest in Melek. He has just returned from the army and he needs sex with a mature and experienced woman. Yaman attacks Melek and tries to rape her but she hits him. Melek starts an avanture with Mert. Dönek Husam campaigning Melek for a witch and he and the other men decide they have to kill her. Melek tries to escape from the village but the men attacks her and kill her with stones.

Aziz, a former Yeşilçam director, was devastated when the woman he loved, Leyla, starred in a sex film, and he left Istanbul. Thirty years later, the stubborn man sells everything he owns and returns to Istanbul to film the script he has kept under his arm. Upon arriving in Istanbul, Aziz's first task is to find his "old friends." The elderly crew members are excited by the idea, but none of them are where Aziz left them, or as he left them. A lot has changed since then. Most of them have moved away from cinema and are doing other jobs. Aziz's determined attitude convinces the old crew that they can make the film. His friends know that Aziz wrote this script for Leyla at the time, and they suggest casting her in the role. Aziz vehemently refuses. His friends realize that the wounds are still fresh, and Aziz has not been able to let go of Leyla. It is clear that Aziz and Leyla are in for a difficult reckoning.
