Serena is an award-winning Filmmaker and Director of 2017's BFI supported Film London short film 'Blackout' won 'Best Short Film' at both Birmingham Film Festival and Southampton International Film Festival as well as several more awards. Her first short film, 2016's 'Lady in the Park,' which screened in the UK and internationally, also won 2 awards with a further eight nominations. Serena trained as an actress at Court Theatre Training Company and as a Filmmaker at Raindance. Serena’s focus is making films which highlight underrepresented members of society.
