Seraag and directors ‘Abbaas Kaamel and Fateen Abdul Wahhaab were born of the same family. He was sent, by his family, to Europe to study medicine, but instead he studied German language. It was Muhammad Kareem, the director whom he met in Germany, who gave his first role in “Zeinab” the silent film. Mouneer joined the Acting Supporters Society and started acting on stage, in films as well as in the radio. He married actor Mimi Shekeeb who remained his wife till the end of his life though at the beginning they suffered a lot from her family’s refusal.

A rural mother sells her only cow in order to enroll her son, an imam (Shukri Sarhan) at Dar al-Uloom College. When an imam arrives in Cairo, he rents a room in the Citadel area from a domineering woman named Shafa'at (Tahiya Karioka) who is fascinated by his youth and vitality and lures him into practicing vice with her. As a result, he stumbles in his studies and health. At this time, a girl whom she and her father knew from a young age helps him to get rid of all the corruption in which he lives, and her father advises him to stay away from intercessions, but the intercessions plots against him in an attempt to stay with her.

(Rabha) is a Bedouin girl from a fanatical tribe. She meets by chance a young man from the city while he is on a hunting trip. Love grows between them and they agree to marry. However, her tribe does not approve of their daughter’s marriage to a non-Bedouin young man, and they decide to marry her to her cousin, so Rabha escapes from the tribe to her lover. On her wedding day, her lover, Nabil, decides to kidnap her and let her live with him despite the social difference.

Sami comes from the countryside to Cairo to join a girls' school. There, he admires his student Nawal, but he is ashamed to be honest with her about his feelings for her. At the same time, Mamdouh tries to make Nawal love him, whom he meets by chance, so he turns to his friend Sami to help him write a book. Love letters, creating a love triangle.


Amina lives in Al-Saqqa neighborhood. She becomes seriously ill and is forced to be transferred to Dr. Jasser’s hospital, where his son, Dr. Kamal, treats her. Meanwhile, love grows between Amina and Kamal, and Kamal wants to marry Amina, but his father Jasser does not approve of this marriage, but he marries her. Igricheff, the Amiris' instructor, refuses to take part in the Cadi's arms deal. Deposed, he flees and joins the Ghafaris, determined to help his former enemies against the Amiris. Taken prisoner, he is saved by his young slave, Yasmina, while the Ghafaris are almost completely annihilated. He takes refuge on the ship of the trafficker Mordhom. Having provoked the death of his servant, he is put on trial by Mordhom but acquitted by his peers. Mordhom then lands Igricheff on the coast, and the latter succeeds in saving the Frenchman from an Amiri attack. The two men reconcile and set off on their adventures together.

Assem a very rich man, clashes with the young man who was flirting with his wife and kills him. Then, on one of his evenings, he discovers a person who is very similar to him and offers to swap lives.

Ahmad is an air-force fighter who lives with his rich father who wants him to marry partner's daughter; but he falls in love with Zainab.

The story revolves around a young man who squandered all his wealth, joins a gang to counterfeit money, falls in love with a singer, marries her, but the police arrest him, the young man gets out of prison and tries to take revenge on the gang leader who tried to marry his wife during the period he was imprisoned, the gang leader plans to harm him in his work in which he works in order to support his family.
